Story
I’m April Dunn, certified esthetician, lash artist, and master lash instructor with over 10 years in the industry. I created the APE LASH community to nurture other budding lash artists and give them the guidance, support, and tools they need to blossom into their full potential.

I’ve worn many hats across various industries, but I’ve always kept one foot in the world of beauty. I started as a makeup artist before becoming a distributor for a product manufacturer and working as a trainer for a major lash extension company.

After traveling the world training lash artists with my daughter Carli Gibson by my side, we formed our own lash training community centered around mentorship and lash artistry. APE LASH was born in 2018, and we’ve never looked back. Carli is also a certified esthetician, lash artist, and master lash instructor with over 10 years’ experience,—not to mention a professional gamer!
